Coffee table with orange glass top, chrome

Type: Coffee table
Period: 1970s
Materials: Thick glass, chromed metal
Colour: Orange
Status: Sold

This vintage table from the 1970s comes from an era when designers dreamed of the future and futurism burst into interiors with pop-art colours and space-age forms. It recalls an orange sunset: warm, bright and slightly nostalgic.

The glass top rests on two oval, massive chromed metal sides. The glass is thick, clear and well preserved, with no cracks or chips, only small scratches that are barely noticeable in daily use. The construction is stable yet looks light, almost ephemeral.
