About Sofa Store

Sofa Store is a vintage furniture showroom in Podil, Kyiv. We do not think of it as a shop: we welcome each visitor like a guest, tell the story of the pieces and hope that everyone leaves with a thing that has a past.

We bring pieces from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. Many come from private homes and offices, and each has its own history, which we share in the listing when we know it.

Our craftsmen sand and re-lacquer the wood, check and repair mechanisms, and either preserve the original leather with its patina or reupholster in new leather, often in our signature olive and green. We aim to renew a piece without erasing its history.

If you are looking for a specific model, send us a reference photo or the name. We search for vintage armchairs, sofas and tables to order.

There is no cart and no price list. Every piece is sold personally, so we can answer your questions and arrange a viewing by appointment in Kyiv.
