Sofa Store restores mid-century furniture in its own workshop in Kyiv. Send us your armchair, sofa or table: we return it with its original character and a new life ahead.
What we restore
Leather
Cleaning, repair, recolouring or new natural leather chosen to suit the period of the piece.
Wood
Frames, legs and surfaces: repair, sanding and lacquering that keeps the original wood and its history.
Upholstery and filling
New filling, springs and webbing, fresh covers in leather or fabric, button tufting where the design calls for it.
Metal and mechanisms
Chrome and aluminium bases, swivel and reclining mechanisms, small repairs that make a piece sit and move as it should.

Use the form below or write to us on Instagram. Tell us what the piece is, what bothers you and where you are.

Assessment
We study the photos and reply personally: what can be restored, what is worth doing and what is better left alone.

Proposal
You receive a clear proposal with the scope of work and the price, agreed individually for each piece.
- 04
Collection and delivery
The piece travels to our workshop in Kyiv. We agree the logistics with you once the proposal is accepted.
- 05
Restoration
We work by hand, keep you updated with photos and approve every important decision with you.
- 06
Return
The finished piece comes back to you, or waits for you in our Podil showroom.
What to send us
- Photos of the whole piece from the front, side and back
- Close-ups of damage, worn leather, cracks and stains
- A maker's label or mark, if there is one
- Approximate dimensions, your city and country
We do not promise to make a piece look new: we restore it so that it keeps its history. If a piece is not worth restoring, we will tell you honestly.
